Was SOO glad to get out of there!

Service: There was some young lazy kids running the whole building. They were backpackers themselves obviously. 20 year old foreigners should not be in charge of the accommodation of about 100 people.
Cleanliness: There was one person in charge of cleaning the whole building. He did a very very poor job. The building should have been knocked down about 5-10 years ago. It is a danger to be near and a very scary thought to be in the building at any time. It is possible it could collapse... Because of this, the building is just old, disgusting and rotting.
Location: The Location is good, but because it's such a poor building etc, it's just not worth it. A few minutes walk to China Town and Central Station.
Value: It was approximately $70 a night for a dhingy, rotting, smelling little room. Sometimes you got clean linen, sometimes you didn't. Sometimes there was a bathroom and sink in your room and some rooms didn't have that.
Overall: If you are a very cheap traveller and not fussy at all, possibly willing to pick up a few diseases... By all means, go there. But if you're wanting to stay in a place where you know your belonging will still be there when you get back from going out, then please... go elsewhere to avoid loss/stealing of your possessions.
If you're an Aussie, you will be highly disappointed... Pay an extra $10-20 and go a little further out and get a nicer place...
