Waldorf Bankside, Auckland

The studio apartment was very modern,clean & secured 9important头female） had lots of storage and had good facilities including a well equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, hotplates, dishwasher, fridge, toaster, kettle and sink. All stainless steel and very cleverly organised. The apartment also had a nice private bathroom with shower and heated towel rack. The room is air conditioned/heated and also has free Pay TV. There was also agreat balcony which offered us great views of the Sky-tower.Nice view!!!! The manager of the hotel was really friendly and easy going and the security at the hotel is great. There is no parking at the hotel but there is a parking lot (pay) directly across the road and lots of street parking close by. The hotel is in a great location. 4 minute to Queen street (central street with most of the shops) and about 8 minutes to the Harbour/ferry terminal. The only thing we didnt like was walking back from Queen Street as it includes a steep and long hill .but the whole of Auckland is hilly so its not suprising and im sure most hotels would also involve a hill like this. I would recommend this hotel to people who are basing their trip around activities in the city or activities departing from the city and who like to .o cook their own meals rather . Overall the room was very good & clean. location was central &excellent ..and the managment was friendly and helpful. Great!

A fantastic apartment, with all you could need. Very close to Queen St and other attractions. We were on the top floor with fantastic views of the harbour, surrounding islands and Sky City Tower. The staff were very helpful, I even stayed an extra night and they only charged me the rate I had paid through wotif. The apartment looks exactly like those in the pictures, so you really know what your getting! I will be staying there again soon!

We stayed5 nights at the Waldorf and were very happy with our stay. After reading many reviews for hotels from backpackers to 5 star resorts with terrible reviews, we were relieved to read the consistent good reviews for the Waldorf. It has a very convenient location , 5 mins up a fairly steep hill from Queen street in central Auckland. The building has no reception, you phone through the security system and get buzzed in. We quickly received our keys and made it to our room. The room was clean, functional and spacious. There was a double bed, work desk, kitchen with washing machine and cooking facilities, living area with tv and sofa. Dining table. The bathroom was spotless with a great power shower. At NZ$10090 dollars a night o, you cannot fault these apartments and we would definutley stay here again.

- joke of a water view. The merest glimpse between office buildings or in the far distance. You'd be far more likely to see the top of the multi-storey car park that is directly opposite and beyond that the ghastly 70's office block. - crummy furniture, straight out of a secondhand shop - poorly-designed interior - acres of space for kitchen facilities, no space for bedside table - smoke detector positioned directly over bed, means flashing lights all night immediately overhead. Insane. - prison-like decor on landings. Bare concrete, bare steel girders, bare strips of metal. For real! Experience the worst that Auckland has to offer at the Waldorf Bankside, if you dare.

We stayed in Waldorf Bankside for 6 nights. Very central Auckland city location close to most of Auckland trractions. The studio apartment was spacious, fully equippped, clean and nicely decorated. Very secured apartment with deck and nice water view, The apartment was serviced every 4 nights including fresh linen supply. Reasonable rate per night!!!

The apartment we stayed in was spacious, clean, fully eqipeed with kitchen, laundry and had a nice veranda with distant water views. The complex is well looked after , secured in in a great Auckland City central location- close to all attractions! The apartment was fully equipped and cleaned every 3 nights- good rate. Will come back!

We stayed . in a 1 bedroom hotel apartment on BanksideWaldorf for6 nights. The apartment was spacious, nicely furnished with laundry, kitchen and nice veranda looking to the water. Very good onsite facilities in the complex, good security & service. The location is very good- walking to mostareas and on the train or free bus service, good value for your mpney!

Very good location for short term furnished apartment accommodation at very reasonable rate. Our studio apartment had kitchen, laundry, internet, Pay TV and veranda with great view. Very clean, organized & well secured accommodation!!!

Bankside Waldorf Apartments are located in a great Auckland City location the apartment are not 6 star hotel but it is spacious, clean, fully funished & equipped and provide good value accommodation in a great Auckland location..

Great location near Uni & Queen Street. The studio furnished apartment had great view from the veranda was nicely furnished & equipped and the weekly rate was great- good find!!!
