St George Summer Hotel, Wellington

During the term this well-known hotel is a student hostel but come the summer months it throws its doors open to all comers. November 5 to February 14 sees this famous hotel become a backpackers. Note: the Fab Four stayed here in 1964 when they were in town and brought traffic at the Manners and Willis Streets intersection to a halt! Accommodation includes single and twin rooms, family units and backpackers quarters.
