Costa Club, Adolfo Lopez Mateos

I stayed in Hotel Costa Brava for 8 days. I have stayed in all sorts of places on the island the past few years and honestly have to say that for the money this is a good find. Very close to town, right across the street from a dive shop, (Dive Paradise)dive dock w/lockers, and a great place for breakfast also right across the street. Very basic rooms with showers (no tubs-not many hotels in Cozumel have tubs anyway unless your a resort person, of which you would not be reading this review if you were)however very clean rooms and staff is wonderful. Onto the beds, for Cozumel the beds were actually softer than usual, not those rock hard beds like at Plaza Las Glorias. A/C worked well as did the fridge. The Grocery (Chedraui) is also a very short walk. I also found you were treated like a queen if you left the maid a few dollars everyday. For the price of the room you can afford it. Also very close to Carlos and Charlies (nightlife) so if you drink a little to much, you just walk back. Very happy with this hotel, very cheap, yet very clean, very close to everything, and management very nice.
