Osawa Onsen Hotel, Matsuzaki-Cho

Osawa Onsen Hotel is a converted Edo-era compound that is over 330 years old. The original building houses most of the hotel's common areas, including a coffee shop and bar located in the centuries-old miso storage room. Most guest rooms are located in a modern concrete addition. If you prefer staying in the original ancient surrounds, ask for the charming "Choja no ma", one of the few rooms in the old section of the hotel.
