Renaissance Jamaica Grande, Ocho Rios

My sister and I visit Jamaica almost every year since 1995. Jamaica Grande is our favorite hotel. The staff is always nice and helpful. The oceanfront room we had on our last visit was outstanding. We had a 50" flat screen tv in our room. The hotel was clean, the food is good and the entertainment staff kept you entertained. They added slot machines to the hotel next to the bar which is wonderful if you are a gambler. It was pretty challenging to get a reservation for the three restaurants Jamaica Grand had on the premises if you did not want to eat from the Buffet.

I loved our spacious room that was over looking the ocean. The parties were great!! Jamaica Grande is in the center of town and we could walk to most places. We won the newlywed game. The waiters and bartenders was so nice. They catered to our every need. A great place to stay with or without children.

It's been a few years since I've been there, but it was a wonderful experience. Great Food, Great location, Wonderful staff. Couldn't ask for more.

We honeymooned here in 2000. Great food!!! Super friendly/helpful staff. Gorgeous setting with lots to do. Couldn't have been happier on our first trip to Jamaica!!!

I FELT PEACE,CALM,HAPPY,WELCOME AND ALL OF THE ABOVE.I WILL NEVER FORGET THIS PLACE AND NEITHER WILL I LET MY FRIENDS FORGET IT. IT'S A MUST VISIT PLACE AND ITS A PLACE TO CONSIDER MAKING IT YOUR PERMANAT HOME.

My husband and I stayed at the Jamaica Grande and we loved it!!! Our first trip to Jamaica and we could not have planned it any better if a travel agent made the reservations. The grounds are beautiful, the staff very nice. The only downfall, was the time it took to get to the hotel from the airport, but once we arrived, we realized that it was definately worth the time. We signed up for everything we could possiblly do and on our last day, we both had massages at the spa. It was a beautiful experience. I have visited Jamaica 4 times since then and I must say NOTHING compares to the Grande.

Great stay.Affordable,Paradise,great tourist spot . town is not far from hotel so go and explore .Staff are friendly .Has Pool jucuzzi,dining and much much more

My family and I love the service the best, the employees were always eager to help whenever needed, and most important - very polite. The facilities and activities were vary convenient and enjoyable; we enjoyed the visit to Duns River Falls - the climb was challenging. The Rooms are very spacy and comfortable while the pools and beach a delight to visit each day.

everthing.The service was not very good at all.You only got served if you gave them a tip! even though in was all enclusive.Beach was dirty from all the cruise liners. The trips were very exspensive compered to other carribean islands.the only good thing i can say about this hotel that it was good for children!.

The hotel is situated about half way through the town of Ocho Rios and is surrounded by mountains and forest, an idylic setting when taken with the sun, sand, sea, friendly people and amazing sunrises and sunsets. Staff take good care of you and help to make your holiday something special, they are helpful easy going and try to liven things up a bit if it is going quiet. In particular we found Theresa, Ingrid, Gauyos, Kevin and Jerome all fully fledged bar staff to be very competent and well worth promtion to a better position. They never missed anything that was happening while they were on duty and always remembered your name and what you liked to drink. The town itself is full of con merchants who really make it interseting when you bargain with them and even when they do manage to rip you off it is done with a smile. So if you want to enjoy yourself and have a worry free holiday with friendly helpfull staff the Sunset Jamaica Grande is the one for you as it will be for us again.
