Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort Spa at Grande Dunes, Myrtle Beach

Service was excellent in every area,from the front desk to the cleaning service. Very clean and kept that way. Great bar ,but the cost of the drinks was a little on the high side ,I would have liked to spend more time relaxing in the bar but didn't like being overcharged for drinks. Best bed I ever slept on in a hotel. Great place.

The resort was wonderful. Right on the ocean, beach was clean and well maintained. Pools were spotless. Our room was large and the staff kept it very tidy. Restaurant was convient and moderately priced, service was prompt and pleasant.

this place its ok but you dont really give the info that people are looking for you need to put more pictures reduce the price a little bit but overal you are good

My husband and I stayed at the Grand Dunes for 7 nights, July 13 thru July 20, cost over $2200. We normally stay further south but decided to treat ourselves this trip. We come to MB about 1-2 times a month on business and have stayed in other Marriott facilities before so we felt this would really be special. We had a 'view' of the roof and all of the 'lovely', loud air conditioning units. Oh, and I don't want to leave out the smoke and steam rising from the kitchen. We could not open the door to the non-balcony for the noise. There was no storage at all in the bathroom. There was no comfortable place to sit in the bedroom, the chair felt like it was upholstered with steel wool. Even though we were reminded to conserve energy and water by hanging our towels for reuse, there was no place to hang them except for the robe hook on the bathroom door. We hung them there and were still given clean towels every day. There was no coffee the 2nd day we were there. The TV selections were terrible unless you like to watch sports 24 hours a day. The food in the restaurant, Oceans at 82nd was overpriced and pitiful. I would suggest more detail on flavor and less on the presentation. I do not consider julienned bell peppers and shredded carrot a side dish. The bed was very comfortable. Overall I'd have to say you get a zero on this one. We would not stay there again and if asked by family or friends, would not recommend it to them either. So, to quote your adverstisements; Never before and NEVER again.

We go to Myrtle Beach pretty often. Just got back from our second trip for this season and are planning one more. We were treated like royalty at this resort. Very clean, service was way above average and the people working there were so nice! A little costly but worth it once you look around.

We were there in March 2005, but this time it was sunny and warm. We had a wonderful time. The room service was great. The beds are soooo comfortable. The waitresses in the pool area were very attentive and courteous. The front desk was very accommodating at checkin with options for an up graded room. The only down side was in March our room was about $90/night and this past weekend the same room was about $300/night. But I guess that's reasonable for peak season in that area. The rooms were very clean as well as the rest of the hotel and pool areas.

I had a meeting at this hotel and enjoyed every minute of it! The pool area was beautiful and the wait staff was very attentive and courteous. The breakfast bar had an amazing omelet chef who made any sort of omelet you desired. Oh and the beds were so nice and comfortable I wanted to buy one when I got home. I relaxed in one of the hammocks near the ocean and nearly dozed off almost missing one of my meetings! All in all I had a wonderful time!

My family host reunions every two years and it's up to that particular city to find the best in accomidations. So far to date the Marriott Grande Dunes has topped them all. The rooms were beautiful and they were able to handle our large family...500 people and that was just ones that stayed at the resort. For the others when it came to the dining experience...very inviting to say the least. I'd go back again and again.

I LIKED EVERY THING ABOUT THIS PLACE. THE QUALITY OF THE CONSTRUCTION AND FURNISHINGS. CUSTIOM MASTER BATH. 3 LARGE SCREEN TV'S DVD, CD PLAYRES, AND MARBLE COUNTER TOPS. NOT A BAD VIEW IN THE BUILDING.

I absolutely loved it...recovering from cancer surgery and the bed I slept in was divine...did not need any extra cushioning. Woke up throughly rested and couldn't wait to turn in!! I loved the food, and your hotel staff is the best I have experienced in a while. I was on the beach walking every morning and as a budding poet came away with poems inspired by my stay there. LOVED IT!!!! I WILL BE BACK, AND AM SPREADING WORD ABOUT YOUR SUPERB SERVICE AND FACILITIES.
