Enjoyable and Convenient

I stayed here with my husband and in-laws while touring the Bourbon Trail. The hotel was very conveniently located. There are tons of restaurants nearby, as well as two large grocery stores. It was hot as the blue blazes when we were there, so we took full advantage of their outdoor saltwater pool every single day. The pool was always crystal clean with plenty of lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. The breakfast was quite good, with several hot items each morning. If you're planning to spend a lot of time at the pool, I would bring beach towels. The "pool towels" provided at the front desk were extremely small and thin. Barely big enough to wrap around my shoulders and I am a normal-sized female. I thought the rooms were very reasonably priced and the staff was pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

WOW! Fantastic Place

I stayed often during the illness and death of a relative and the People were just fantastic! I arrived at midnight once and they were gracious and did an outstanding job. The breakfast is delicious and the Manager of the Breakfast is a friendly, kind, lovely lady who went out of her way to make sure I had coffee and whatever I wanted for the hospital, etc! She was great! The managers and Janet, front desk, were everything anyone would want in customer service plus. Janet was always pleasant, kind, and gracious. The rooms were always clean, equiped and the beds were ohhhh ready to flop in and sleep! I rate this a 10/10+. I have traveled a lot and this is the place to stay, close to activities, close to shopping, and most of all, makes you feel special.

Will return often!

This is a great place to stay on your visit to Lexington. We chose this for it's location near the Lexington Green area. We come here often to go to Comedy Off Broadway and shop. We will return often because of the excellent staff, cleanliness of the room, very comfortable bed, and great location.

We were sold from the moment we arrived!!!

My husband and I went to Lexington, Ky this weekend and spent two nights in the Homewood Suites. From the moment we opened the door to the suite, we were 100% satisfied. It was very clean, it had ammenities we never expected, kitchen stocked, dish washer, mini-stove, very nice cosmetics for the vanity/bath area, ceiling fan, radio/clock, french-made bed, a gracious amount of towels, nice seating area with a sofa bed, a newspaper every morning, a wonderful breakfast area with a variety of food to choose from, good coffee. I could simply go on and on. The staff was exceptionally nice and SMILED. We have visited Lexington for many, many years and stayed in another hotel, which I will not name. We will never return to that hotel. Homewood Suites has our business from this day forward. We were very, very pleased.

Excellent Hotel For The Value

The service and staff were helpful and effecient. The hotel offered breakfast 5 days a week and dinner 4 days, all inclusive. My room had a kitchenette, which I was surprised by but eventually very happy about, and was very spacious. There was free internet service which is very important for me. I've stayed in more expensive hotels, Ritz Carlton, J.W. Marriott, and have had to pay for the service. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and will on my return trip to the Bluegrass. It will be one of the places I look for on my trips to other parts of the country as well. By the way, this is my first stay at a Homewood Suites and I was very impressed.

My new favorite place

So many things I liked.First on check in a cookie.Very clean and attractive place.Located convenient to mall and other stores.Two meals a day included.A full kitchen with microwave and free popcorn packet.I asked about a dvd player and was told one could be brought to the room at no extra charge.Friendly and helpful staff.

Good Family Hotel

I have had three great stays at this hotel and will continue going there. The suites are extremely clean (non-smoking means non-smoking!) and big enough for several people. The two queen-bed suites I have stayed are in a seperate bedroom with attached shower/bathroom area. There is a common area with pull-out bed sofa, extra chair, coffee table, and kitchen area w/ a refrigerator and stove. The high-speed internet is no charge and is reliable and fast. The higher cost of these suites is offset by the free morning breakfasts. The breakfast has a large variety of foods (including egg, bacon, potatoes) and drinks. There are plenty of large parking spaces. I have never had problems with reservations at this hotel, but be sure to make reservations early because rooms fill up fast!

Never Going Back

Homewood Suites is a nice place, however, I booked the king suite with hot tub room... the couple who had reserved the room prior to my day of arrival decided they would like to stay another night.. the hotel staff allowed them which knocked me out of the room. Yes you understood that right. I had the room reserved and they allowed another couple to take the room and ignored my reservation completely. I was not notified until i arrived. Talk about ruining your plans. They offered a free normal suite, but they could not understand that didnt help me any. I specifically choose them for their hottub suite and even turned down other great hotels like the sheraton and mariott, what a mistake!!(it wasnt much cheaper either) It is a nice place unless you make your reservation and then someone already staying there decided to stay longer... trust me you will get the boot. I will not return to that this establishment ever again. Since their prices are quite high I recommend the Sheraton or Mariott has you are than likely to have a safer reservation with them.
