Won't Go Back
By Autumn, 09/26/09
The walls are paper thin, so every noise you make, people hear. We have two small children and by the time we left, had 6 noise complaints. The kids were just laughing, not loud. All of these complaints came to us before 10 pm, on the weekend! The staff is rude, the manager is rude. The maids do a half "A" job cleaning. " Pretty bad when you don't feel welcome and end up using the parking garage exit to leave. The staff never checked to see if there was noise, just went off what the old people next to us said. Seattle is weird. The people who work in Seattle are weird and rude. They should be ashamed of themselves. Oh, and the internet works horribly and they charge to much to use it.

Bed Bugs!
By Jason, 08/03/08
After staying here 2 nights I had over 10 nasty bed bug bites (2 on each of my hands) 4 on my arms and 4 on my back! I paid $130+ a night for this?!? Disgusting!

would stay again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/19/08
Was a little skeptical when we booked online, but when we got there it was perfect! There is a rooftop with a great view, small gym, and internet. We were there for a long weekend and were doing a lot of site seeing and exploring. We love to walk and the Med was the perfect distance to walk to everything. From the website - I was a little nervous it was going to be too far away from things, but it was not at all....especially if you don't mind walking 1-3 miles a day. The room was not incredible, but again we weren't there often except to sleep. We went to two restaurants in the area and they were both amazing....great service and great food. My boyfriend and I travel a lot and were really happy with this place. We would stay again and recommend it! Enjoy!

Couldn't have made a better choice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/21/08
My wife and I, together with our 6 month-old baby relied on a few good reviews of the Mediterranean Inn. We were arriving from Malaysia (18 hours by air) and needed a weekend stay, before checking into another hotel in downtown Seattle booked by my company. The Mediterranean Inn was pleasantly suprising. Service was unobstusive but pleasant (we could have had help with our baggage though, since 1 one of was occupied with the baby). The rooms were sufficiently large, and clean. The bathroom was exceptionally spotless. It even came with a little kitchenette with fridge and microwave. There was a Safeway around the corner that enabled us to get needed toiletries and snacks. There is also a laundrette downstairs for use by guests. The Queen Anne area is safe, and having unpacked and showered we could still walk about (with the baby) to get dinner at one of the many restaurants nearby. And if you're one for walking in the crisp Seattle fall weather, Pike and other areas of interest are a short 6-7 block walk away. I'd definitely go back.

nice but spartan
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/04/07
The Med. Inn was worth the money. It was clean, the staff was helpful and had a nice location. The bed was a touch small and the room was lacking in any sort of extra comforts. No complaints, just no extras.

Disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/07
I made a reservation as a gift for my son for a special occasssion. I even checked ahead to make sure everything was o.k. When he went to check in it took three hours. I was on hold for an hour with them asking me to keep holding about every 15 minutes. Instead of helping me they blamed me for everything. I am a seasoned traveler and this was so disappointing. I have never experienced anything like this before with a hotel. The evening was ruined but the location was great.

Extremely convienient!!!
By Paigelady, 07/23/07
We had a late check in & the front desk staff was very pleasant....Our room was clean & I loved the recessed sitting area by our window! This hotel has the BEST parking rates for the city. We were there for 8 days & there is a quaint coffee shop if you would like something other than the usual in Seattle ("Starbucks") up about a half a block from the hotel, they have some fantastic coffee. Also, you are about a block from a fresh market where we stocked some essentials in our mini fridge in the room!!! Great choices for places to eat in this neighborhood, like Indian, Mexican, Irish, American, etc. Also, if you like beer & eclectic art, look into walking to a place called McMeniman's about 3-4 blocks from the hotel & order a "Ruby" beer.....it is the BEST!!!! I would definatley stay here again due to the service, comfortability, cost, & location! Don't forget to check out the awesome view from their rooftop patio.....you can't beat it!

How Seattle!
By Julie, 01/01/07
What more could you want ... Starbucks off the foyer, stunning views from the top deck, Space Needle easy walking, great neighbourhood restaurants, Safeway across the road ... and more. The staff were great, couldn't have been more helpful (and we loved their Halloween decorations). While the rooms were a little smallish, we thought it great value ... we weren't there to stay in our rooms! It was great having free internet in the flyer but the weekly room connection was convenient and cheap.

We love the Mediterranean
By Stephen, 11/18/06
This is our favorite Seattle hotel. The staff consists of extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable employees. The rooms are small, but always clean and comfortable. (The housekeeping staff deserves praise for their attentiveness.) The Mediteranean's location is perfect. You can grab a shake a Dick's, see a movie, have a wonderful Indian meal at Roti's, get some old tunes at Easy Street, and have the world's best latte at Uptown Espresso--all within a couple of blocks.
