Icy Strait Lodge, Hoonah

We recently fell upon this wonderful lodge. We asked a local in Icy Straits for someplace good to eat lunch. We were in Icy Straits on a cruise. We were told to go to the lodge. We walked which took us about 15mins. We arrived to find out that they had closed 10mins before we got there. The owner was so nice, they opened up for our group of 12 and cooked lunch for us. We were able to play pool and even made our on entertainment with their karokee.. The owners wife even gave us ladies a ride back to town!. The food and entertainment was excellent but their hospitality was EXCEPTIONAL!!! If you are in Icy Straits your time will be well spent paying them a visit!!! Thanks from the group from Georgia....

Located on the water. Rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. Good food in the restaurant. The staff are really what makes this a great place to stay. They really go out of their way to make your stay memorable.
