Great Romantic Getaway!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/23/08
My husband and I went a year ago and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub just outside our room, with a glass of wine, under the stars...ah..heaven! The breakfast was great and the hosts were very friendly. Highly recommend!

A little piece of heaven

This is an absolutely delightful country lodge with delicious beds and linens, a great fireplace in a two story lodge living room, wonderful breakfast and incredible hosts. It's about 20 minutes from downtown Bellingham, but we did not find it difficult to travel to and from the center of town or to restaurants. The host family is a real plus. Tara is an excellent organic cook, and both Dwight and Tara are as congenial a host as you can hope for. We stayed for about a week looking the area over for possible relocation, and they were more than helpful.

Excellent place to stay!

Two of my girlfriends and I stayed at this B&B for our annual "Girly Weekend" and we couldn't have had a better time! The location of the lodge is excellent and the surrounding area is beautiful as well! The owners were incredibly helpful and generous with us. They even let us have an extra room at no charge as we were the only guests in the place that night! It is large, well kept, and has a beautiful fireplace just perfect for sipping hot cocoa around! I would definitely go back again!

One of the nicest places i have ever stayed!

It has a beautiful setting out in the country yet it is so close to town. It is what i would say as a true northwest lodge. The place was very clean!
