Otters Pond Bed & Breakfast, Eastsound

We enjoyed our stay at Otters Pond B&B so much that we extended our trip by one more night. The home was beautiful. We took the smallest bedroom to save on our costs, but it was very nice and it had a wonderful view of the pond; it was perfect for us. The location of the house was perfect. It was close to the village square (5-6 min. drive) on the island but far enough away to be quiet and totally natural. It did not have ocean views, but the large pond, the birds and the trees that surrounded the pond made for a very beautiful setting. The hot tub was good and hot and also had views of the pond and wildlife activity. The owner Carl was careful to take care of our special dietary needs and made us very tasty breakfasts even though it was not what he normally prepared. There are many nice places to stay on Orcas Island. This was my third stay, and I liked Otters Pond B&B best of all so far.
