More than a hotel
The Residence Inn was the most memorable part of my trip... I am scared of heights and I went to the Falls and the top of the Space Needle and still the hotel made the trip worth it.
Whenever I leave home, I get homesick easily because of the beds and being away from friends and family. I was not homesick there. Between Angela, Dave, Bernado, Mr. Rice, and others, I felt as close to home as I ever believe I'll get. They were the best staff I ever came across at a hotel.
What one should recognize about this hotel is its amenities. My co-worker stayed in a neighboring hotel and we compared the difference. As the hotel she stayed in is well-known and assumed to be the best in the area, she realized quickly that it fell short in so many ways. She was actually thinking about moving two blocks over. The staff at the Residence Inn was more hospitable and offered more complimentary services then she couldn't dream of having at her hotel, such as the buffet breakfast and dinner and free Wi-Fi. She had to pay $9.95 a day to use the internet.
Aside from the financial and customer service aspect, the aesthetics of this hotel was impeccable. Now out of nearly 100 pictures, there are at least 30-40 pictures of my suite and the lobby. It was immaculate and vibrant.
Please take my advice that this is a great hotel because I am truly not a person who participates in surveys or write reviews.
