Roaring River Bed & Breakfast, North Bend

Wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The owners very friendly and the breakfast delightful. We plan to visit the Roaring River B&B again.

This place is better than many of the 5 star resorts I have stayed in. Grounds are amazing, rooms are charming and the food was fantastic.

peggy promised my wife compensation after she erroneously double booked a room and left my wife without a room even though she booked it 2 months in advance. They entered her room illegally to remove the receipt and then gave the room to another "preferred" guest. my wife is a quite, sweet homeschool mom who did not deserve to be treated like they treated her. even after proof positive was sent to peggy that my wife had been told by peggy that her payment was received for the reservation, it didn't matter. i called peggy to take advantage of her promise to make good on the complimentary stay and she was everything but professional. They've been trying to sell this b&b for years now. They finally took it off the market. Seems they are very very tired of this business and it is leaking through every aspect. Beautiful place, bad management.

I made a reservation for a room 1-1/2 months prior to a homeschool christian conference being held in North Bend. After I had been in my room for 3 hours, they claimed they didn't have a reservation for me (right! that's why they gave me a key, showed me around, gave me a receipt for payment,etc). They came into my room, while I was out, took the receipt from my room, told me someone else had reserved this room and to "get out"! They began taking my personal belongings out of my room! I should have called the police, but since I can't drive in the dark, I cut my losses short to get back home before then. They were extremely rude, unprofessional. My husband and I had stayed there once before. I have the distinct feeling, someone came in with a higher bid on the room and they went for it.

The Roaring River B&B was a wonderful place to stay. The Rose and Rock room had a beautiful view of the river. The hosts were gracious and welcoming. The food was wonderful - they easily and cheerfully accommodated our unusual food requirements. It was comfortable and tastefully decorated. A romantic place for couples to stay. Next time we travel through North Bend, we will definitely stay here.
