Spoiled us happy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/05/08
I decided to give this as one of my birthday gift to my wife so we can get away from our three kids at home. This was also our first time doing something like this and I can say I was very happy. We checked in a little later then expected but Ken was there and greeted us all with a smile and made us feel welcome. I was also there with my friend and his wife after I convice him to come along. The breakfast was great both morning and I usually don't eat fruits but the pineapple was awesome. It was one of the sweetest I have had. I have to say Kimberly is a good cook. To make this short, on our way him my wife said to me that her backache went alway wish it was longer. My friend made me laugh when he said he finally knew how to enjoy life and he though that he would not be able to live without his tv and computer. I on the other hand can say, I felt so refresh after just 6 hours of uninterupted sleep (baby cries) through the whole night that I was surprise and even felt liked I had caught up on all my sleep that I felt I would never be able to get enough off. I can truly say, Ken and Kimberly spoiled us all. Thanks Ken and Kimberly for the great weekend. Xiong and Linda Vang and Kayer

What a WONDERFUL Experience!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/17/07
Ken and Kimberly couldn't have put together a better experience for my wife and myself. Cotton Mansion is a beautiful home that they have opened up to share with their patrons. Ken and Kimberly allow you to enjoy the entire downstairs that includes 2 sitting rooms, Dinning room, Sunroom, and porch. Ken and Kimberly were also extrememly knowledgable and helpful in providing information on things to do and see aound the area. The Wine, cheese, crackers and sweets provided unpon check-in was a very pleasant surprise and Breakfast is phenominal! My wife and I plan on making this a yearly trip (which is something that we did not intend on doing when we stumbled onto Cotton Mansion), and are already making plans to return. Ken and Kimberly do a terrific job of making you feel like your at home and not "just another guest!" I have already recommended Cotton Mansion to numerous people and hope that they are able to go up and have the same great experience we had! I would recommend Cotton Mansion to anyone, you would definately be missing out if you did not spend your hard earned vacation relaxing in this top of the line Bed and Breakfast! Gracious Hospitality
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/07
My husband and I saw a piece on the Cotton Mansion on HGTV not long ago. Unknown to me he took the info down and make lavish arrangements for our anniversary. The Mansion is truly a work of art and the hospitality outstanding. If you're heading north for a romantic weekend it's a must.

Winter in Duluth
By Mike, 12/04/06
The innkeepers, Ken and Kim, were wonderful. Ken knows a lot about the history of the house, and Kim is an excellent cook. We stayed in the Bella Flora Suite in the carriage house. There are two suites there, and we could hardly hear our neighbors during the weekend. The Bella Flora is really a three room suite with the hot tub room, living area, and bed area, seperated. The fireplace near the bedroom was a nice added touch. We were there specifically for a romantic getaway, and being away from the main house accomodated us just fine. Next time we may try one of the rooms in the house, and will probably spend more time relaxing in the large living spaces. Overall a heavy recommendation for this B & B.
