Thimbleberry
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/17/08
Great place! Clean, friendly and peaceful right on the Lake-Sharon is a great cook and the cookies and breakfasts are unbelievable. Trust her, she will take care of you. We celebrated my wifes 42nd birthday at Thimbleberry. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. Bob and Sonja

Couldn't get any better!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/05/07
I took my college-age daughter, and her friend, on an impromptu tour of Wisconsin. We called Thimbleberry on Sunday morning and were thrilled they still had a room available for the night. Sharon Locey, the proprieter/hostess, is part superwoman and part angel. We arrived in the afternoon and were greeted with iced tea and a delicious treat. We stayed in the Madeleine suite, which was large and comfortable and was equipped with a range, microwave and fridge. Sharon helped my daughter and her friend plan an outing while I went down to the water and read. The yard is beautiful and tranquil and the dock is very sturdy and expansive. There are benches sprinkled throughout the property to take advantage of water views and opportunities to view birds and other wildlife. The hosts at this B&B made our group of three weary travelers feel like family. Sharon brought us some delicious chocolate cake in the evening and knocked our socks off with the breakfast she served us in the morning. This bed and breakfast is a very special place and it's hosts are among the best you'll find. I highly encourage everyone to treat themselves to a night at the Thimbleberry! I know I'll be coming back again.

We stayed at the Thimbleberry Inn on part of our honeymoon and everything was perfect! The serice, food, rooms, and the views of Lake Superior were top notch. The owners are very knowlegeable and friendly but also respect your privacy and space. I highly recommend the Thimbleberry Inn.
