Wonderful Honeymoon
By S D, 3/7/10
We stayed there in 2002 for our honeymoon. The people were wonderful and friendly. They worked with us since I was six months pregnate. We had a beautiful room. It was a wonderful and memorable time time My husband and I. We are planning to go go back for our 10 year. Thank you for a great time.

wont ever go back
By sarahb, 10/19/08
We checked in and the owner seemed friendly enough, she and I were making small talk. My boyfriend and I leave for dinner and come back within the hour. We are in the main living room and the same lady comes up to me, looks at me funny and asks "are you a guest here?" I had just chit chatted with her within the hour! The rest of our stay she was snippy and short with us. I thought it was my imagination until I asked my boyfriend and he agreed. It's too bad because the place is beautiful and the room was cozy. The way we were treated by the staff ruined what was supposed to be a romantic weekend together because we felt like we were walking on eggshells around this woman. I guess if that's the worse thing that happened we did ok but we have gone to several B&B's and always have been made to feel at home. We would have had better service staying at a Motel 6.

Simply Fabulous!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/23/08
We loved this place. We stayed for one night, but would have loved to stay longer. Astoria is a lovely town and the Rosebriar was wonderful. We were the only guests on a weeknight in the spring. Innkeepers were friendly and helpful, but also left us alone to enjoy the living area and a glass of wine after dinner. I felt so at home that I took off my shoes and forgot to carry them to my room! Breakfast was very nice. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Fantastic !!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/17/08
Location is excellent, can walk to downtown. Quiet, Beautiful Views of the Columbia River and the Mountains in the distance. Ambience is elegant and staff is friendly. Impeccably maintained rooms and public areas. Breakfast is great! We will return!

Great place for young couples!!
By Megan, 5/22/07
It was a great get away for us. Romantic! Great views. Love the fire place in the living room. What a wonderful way relax after walking around the town. We enjoyed a glass of wine by the fire and talked with the other guests. We wanted a place that didn't have all of the commotion of a hotel. (Busy road, lots of people and kids all around.) We wanted to try a B&B and we are so glad we did. I will never stay in a "hotel" again. Breakfast was great! Most hotels don't even serve breakfast and you pay more for there rooms. The rooms we up to date, warm colors and beds that I didn't want to get out of! I thought we would find ruffles and lace every where, but there wasn't any! The staff is all very nice and made us feel right at home. I am looking forward to my next stay! Thank you!
