Love this place
By Corinne, 07/09/08
My husband and I have been there about 4 times. We usually go there every year for our anniversary now, since we found this place. My husband has had a massage and I have had a mineral bath and wrap. Both were great. The food is great but a little on the spendy side. So we sometimes go to town to eat. We had a problem 1 time we booked 2 rooms because we had to switch the 2nd night. They gave that room to someone else, SO they put us in the honeymoon suite. That was fabulas!! This is a very peaceful place. Mrs. O'Daniel

perfectly adequate.

Nothing to write home to mother about, but better than I had expected. I had heard some negative feedback from friends, but had a gift card to spend. I was pleasantly suprised. The massage was nice, the meal was good, the room was perfectly appointed. The service was fair- lacked enthusiasm and energy- but nothing terrible. Its not an edgy or "fun" place, and its kept from being a truly elegant establishment by the lack of high quality staff- but it does have a very relaxing tranquil aura about it.

Deceptively Nice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/20/07
It may look nice on the inside. And if you don't have to deal with the incmpetant staff, you're in luck. Maybe your food in the dining room will be good. Probably not. Our bad experiance came when my wife and I booked our 1st anniversary. This was our 2nd stay. First time was great. This time they charged my friend's card who had booked our room an entire year earlier!! There was an indescribable mess created with both of our cards, ultimately screwing up my bank account royally. No apologies, just excuses. That's all they have are excuses. Then months after this fiasco, they send a "Welcome Back" card addressed to me, but sent to my friend's address. The still can't get it right! Don't waste your time and be deceived by any good reviews.

Relaxation surrounded in beauty
By , 09/26/05
The resort is situated in the beautiful Columbia Gorge. The rooms are nicely appointed, overlooking a serene courtyard with all sort of vegetation and waterfalls. The food at the restaurant was fantastic. A little pricey, but very good. The spa services were also top notch. I would recommend the facial! What an amazing experience. The natural hot spring baths are more public than private, and therefore not the most relaxing.
