We wont go back
We received our stay at the elephant walk as a gift. I can say we wont go back. Parking very tight who likes door dings? First impression walking in...I could smell moth balls. The house was packed with dusty "treasures" from Rita's (the owners) travels. Lot's of brass, metal, and wicker items. The room was nice until we went into the bathroom. Their were these awful, gross looking masks/faces with buckteeh and long fury hair. We kept the bathroom door closed! The pop in the frig was expired. The windows had no screens so we couldn't leave them open. Conversation at the table for breakfast was all about Rita and "her" thoughts about any and every thing. Things we liked...nice cheese tray for each room, hot tub nice and bed was semi soft, neat copper sink in bathroom, tea yummie, breakfast ok. If you like antiques and open spaces and plesant upbeat light table talk this isn't the best choice. If you like eastern collectibles, lots of personal opions and hords of unsual finds and you can look past the dust you might just like this place. Our flavor is more the Ann and Bean B&B down the street. Very pretty awesome clean open home. check it out
