Inn Britannia, Searsport

Inn Britannia is a wonderful B&B! The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and not outdated. The whole place is decorated with things the innkeepers have collected in England. We learned some history without even trying! The breakfasts were fantastic! We didn't get hungry until late in the afternoon, which actually saved us $$ on vacation! We visited Arcadia National Park and BAr Harbor and it took about one hour to drive there. Another day we went south to Rockland and Camden and that drive took less than an hour. We were going to stay most of the time in Bar Harbor, but we're glad we changed our plans to stay at Inn Britannia in Searsport because we actually saw more things and places. Carin gave us lots of great suggestions about where to go, including some places we'd not heard about, like Schoodic, where we had a picnic by the ocean. We loved everything about Inn Britannia, and have already recommended it to friends. We'll stay there again if we ever go back to Maine!
