Privacy and fun!
Once a year 6 of us 'girl' cousins get together for a special time. The first time we stayed at "The Green Fountain Inn' the owners greeted us and left us alone to carry on with our 1800's theme get together. Some of the girls played the piano. Some of us sang. The rooms were all lovely and the decor of the whole house is victorian.
The Inn is an easy walk to restaurants downtown. The walk takes you past other older, well kept homes and the town itself is welcoming and easy to get around.
Our second gathering there was after the little 'health' restaurant opened in the kitchen and dining room of the Inn. At first we were afraid our stay would be interrupted with noise and customers but we were wrong. After each of us indulged in a visit to the on-property spa for massages the restaurant was getting ready to close and, once again, we were free to giggle and talk into the night.
This is the ideal place for gatherings or if you want to pretend you're someone in an earlier time, living in an above average home.
