Spruce Moose Lodge & Cottages, North Conway

WHAT A CHANGE!! THIS PLACE IS JUST FABULOUS! WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Spruce Moose Lodge! It has been and continues to be renovated and upgraded. And don't worry folks, the place is SUPER CLEAN Now! The New Owners, Leon & Nellie are two of the Greatest Innkeepers I have ever experienced! They have done an incredible amount of work to the place! Plus you can tell they really care about each one of their guests. They made us feel like King and queen! Nellie & Lee go out of their way to make sure you have everything you want or need. Both of the new owners are absolutely wonderful people. You can just tell this terrific couple were meant to be owners of a B&B! They are Perfect for this place! They are extremely friendly. Leon is VERY funny too. Very down to earth folks. You'd swear they were you're good friends you haven't seen in awhile. They offer helpful directions, suggestions of places to go, where to eat, etc. North Conway itself is a wonderfully quaint town with a lot of charm and interesting shoppes. The Spruce Moose is a quick walk from the town, but not too close that you hear any traffic. It's so peaceful and quiet. I love the fact that they have new PRIVATE bathrooms for every room!!! Don't really like sharing bathrooms with other guests like in most B&Bs. I don't have a dog, but this place allows dogs. You'd never know a dog was in the place!! Absolutely spotless and smells great too. The BREAKFAST WAS PHENOMENAL!!! You'd think Leon was a professional chef!! He really goes all out. I honestly have to say this was by far, the BEST Breakfast I have ever had in all my years of B&Bs. Nellie sets a beautiful table, and helps serve the meal. Oh! I almost forgot! Another nice touch they added is a little kitchen-type room for all the guests. There is always Fresh coffee & tea too! ALL THE BEST to the NEW OWNERS, Lee & Nellie in their new venture! I am so glad they bought the Spruce Moose because it's in a great location for everything! You know we will be back several times a year!
