This is what a B and B should be!

I can't say enough about my stay at the Kendall-Tavern. After a somewhat dissapointing stay at an expensive inn in Woodstock, VT., I was expecting nothing great at my last B&B ( and night) in New England. What a treat to drive up to a beautiful home on an expansive lot decorated so charmingly for the Fall season. Tim and Loree Rudolph are meant to be inn-keepers. They are polite, warm, helpful and most of all I felt it to be sincere. They have covered all the details..fresh baked delicious cookies on your arrival, help to your room, help on the phone when lost, great suggestions for dinning, another delicious treat (bananna cake with cream cheese frosting) when returning from dinner-yum! They are comfortable people who make you feel comfortable and a part of their home. That is a quality that can't be faked, and many innkeepers miss. Our room was the largest room I have had all week, and it was a great place to sleep on my last night. I wish that I had spent another night at Kendall-Tavern and skipped a night in Vermont! Oh, breakfast was great also, and the hour of serving time was nice for a change after strict 8:30 sharp rules all week. I know you will love Kendall-Tavern and Tim and Loree. I wish I could be there every fall. I will reccomend this inn highly to anyone traveling to Maine! Ann Garvin-CA
