Afton Inn Bed & Breakfast, Wolfeboro

My husband and I needed lodging for 1 night in Wolfboro and we were lucky that The Afton Inn would accomodate us. After sending in our reservation request online, we found out there were rooms available and they did not require a 2 night booking as many other local places did. I spoke with Debby to make our reservations. Upon our arrival after a family wedding, Debby warmly greeted us by name at the door. We immediately felt welcomed. She showed us the dining room and guest living room on the way to our room. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a true bed and breakfast feel. The antiques and decor were well suited to the farmhouse and the location. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very clean. Being away from downtown allowed us a quiet night's sleep. We enjoyed fresh cantaloupe, orange juice, coffee and Eggs Benedict on fine china for breakfast. After breakfast we sipped coffee on the charming wrap around porch. This is a great place to relax and we will be staying there again when we need lodging in Wolfboro.
