Seth Warner Inn, Manchester

My parents are regular guests at the Seth Warner, and after endless glowing reviews, they brought me and my husband there last weekend. Well, it was everything they promised and more! Even though the weekend was a washout, the inn remained a dry and cozy haven - the warm glow emanating from the windows piercing through the mist and gloom to bid a hearty welcome. Stacia provides wonderfully warm service and Rich is a stand-up comedian just awaiting discovery! We felt as though we were staying with family! The rooms are large, spotless and infinitely comfortable, the breakfasts are filling without making one sluggish, and the 'common' areas are uncommonly friendly. We spent every evening huddled around the fire, reviewing the day's activities and conspiring over our next adventures. A courtesy refrigerator for the guests and hot cider in the evening was the cherry on the cake of our stay. We will be back in February - until then we mark each day of the calendar in anticipation.
