Captain's Inn, Yankton

The Captain's Inn is in a great location with a delicious breakfast but the service and overall experience is the equivalent of a cheaper hotel. I was expecting more after staying in other bed and breakfasts in the area. The bed was not comfortable or decadent (cheap linens, not down, and no bed skirt). The room was set up oddly because the bed footboard was blocking the view of the fireplace. The owner I thought ran it more like a camp than a B&B, you just didn't feel comfortable and she wasn't interested in her guests. The atmosphere was kind of cheap (charging guests for generic sodas, extra shampoos, etc). I wouldn't return.
