Ivy Inn, Saugatuck

My boyfriend and I love to visit Saugatuck-and have stayed at several different places over the last 6 years--but find the Ivy Inn the best for the price, and comfort level. It feels like HOME.!! The location is absolutely perfect, mostly because we attended the 2007 Film Festival and could walk to most of the film venues- but we also really enjoy the close proximity for shopping, restaurants, and the view of boats going by across the street. It is also surrounded by beautiful landscaping. The best part of our stay by far, was the caretaker---Suzie. She's a lovely, sweet lady. Try this one the next time you visit Saugatuck--you won't be sorry. !! Pat

My wife and I have been in a lot of b&b's and have found this to be the most enjoyable. It is quiet, clean, and the staff is very helpful. We are left alone if we want or can talk to staff who have a thorough knowledge of the area. The inn is right downtown but off mainstreet behind a couple of commercial buildings, which keeps things quiet. It is also next to a lovely park and just across the street from the Kalamazoo River and close to Lake Michigan. It is a real bargain for the price.
