My husband and I just came from having such a relaxing stay at the White House Inn. We have never stayed in a bed and breakfast before and judging by what we have experienced during this stay a high bar has been set. We naturally arrived not knowing what to expect and found one of the most pleasant experiences of our life. From the hospitality of Ed and Marjorie, to the coziness of their home to the delicious breakfast, we truly enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. We felt as though we had spent the weekend with friends not innkeepers. I even felt a tear come to my eye when they kissed us goodby and wished us a safe trip home. If you want to see Cooperstown and want advice from such knowledgeable people on not only what to see but a terrific trip back in history as to the beginnings of this adorable little town, The White House Inn is the place to go.
