Did Not Want to Come Home!!!

My fiance and I stayed at the Captain Merry and were thrilled with our experience there. The rooms are decorated beautifully and with extreme attention to detail - we felt like royalty whenever we walked into our room! This would be a perfect honeymoon spot - cozy, but luxurious.
Here are a few ways I think this place is above and beyond... There's a theater downstairs where you can watch movies, cable in the rooms, a selection of DVDs that you can watch in your room, heated toilet seats and floors (really nice in the colder months!), tons of space in the rooms, big (and very comfortable) beds, hair dryer in the room (I forgot mine), and there was even a makeup/shaving mirror in our room. Each room has its own theme (as I noticed on the website) and is decorated accordingly.
We got to spend some time with the owners of the Captain Merry, too - we found them to be very kind, intelligent, and down-to-earth people.
There are also a lot of places to go nearby - nice restaurants, a new casino...
Overall a wonderful experience - we were a bit sad to leave, but we definitely plan to go back!
