The Palmer House, Waverly

This B&B is simply awesome. The rooms are beautifully decorated and when you enter into them it is so peaceful. The service that Linda & Steve provide is the greatest. They have a way of making you feel so welcome until you don't feel like guest you feel more like family. If you pass up staying at Palmer House you are passing up a lifetime chance at a wonderful experience. The breakfast is so good!! I really can't say enough about the Palmer House Waverly NY. It was so nice.

I have stayed with Dolly and Ed many times. I'm from Waverly, and my Dad's hose is small, so staying at the Palmer House is a great solution. The rooms are great, the breakfasts are teriffic, and my girls don't think they have been on vacation if we don't stay there. You can't beat the price or location, and Dolly and Ed are wonderful.(We like Spencer the dog a lot too!) Best place to stay in the area,hands down.

I'm trying to be objective but I've known the owners for years and I'm from Waverly (Left for USN in '58). The details are that they treat all their guests like family (it is a bed/breakfast), the rooms make you feel as though you have lived there all your life,Dolly serves a full breakfast (part of the price), house is early 20th century remodeled with charm of early 20th century, grounds are immaculate (lots of small furrie critters) with large shady trees, Chemung Street traffic is light (main drag through town) and it's location is less than a mile from the NY/PA border, 15 miles East of Elmira, 45 South of Ithaca. I reserve several weeks in advance. Their prices are the best in several counties. I checked. Highly recommended. Enjoy your stay.
