I loved the food and all the genuine antiques!
I loved the house. The ambience and total emersion in the victorian theme was fun and educational. The wallpaper and period pieces were to die for!
I enjoyed the location. Downtown and the college are within easy walking distance. The City Park was close by and on Thursdays they have a farmers market and entertainment in the early evening. There are several good restaurants close by as well. I liked having the choice of deli shops or elegant dining in close proximity.
Staying at Marsh House was easy because we had full access to the refridgerator and snacks at any time of day. Linda was available and eager to share about the points of interest in town and knowledgeable about the various shops we were interested in seeing. (The Quilt Shop was a can't miss!) When we were waiting for appointments and kids we were able to catch up on our reading with up to date periodicals and newspapers.
The meals were fabulous and not to be missed! Linda caters to her guests and asks us what we would like. The fruit was always fresh, the coffee was freshly ground and delicious! I loved every breakfast!
I would go back in a heart beat!
