Wisteria Inn, Put-in-Bay

I cannot say enough about the facility let alone the owners (Rob & Kathy)! If you are looking for a nice quiet place to stay away from the craziness of the downtown are, this is it! So peaceful, quiet and beautiful! The owners are absolutely fabulous and so very kind and caring...the best customer service! I cannot wait for our next visit, we will definitely stay at The Wisteria Inn every time!

I don't understand the one review where the guys says the staff is rude. It's just Rob and Kathy handling it all, no other staff. It's one of the oldest buildings on the island and they renovated it. I live down the street from them and I send my married friends over there all the time and they enjoy the antique decorative bedrooms and living room, besides the peace and quiet. There's breakfast in an adjoining room you can help yourself to and there's a hot tub, too. Pretty landscaping and it's away from downtown where wild ones are making noise until 3 AM. If you want wild and crazy, stay closer to downtown (even though the Wisteria is only a 5 minute golf cart ride from downtown.)

Kathy and Rob are great. Nothing negative at all. Location is great, far enough away from downtown, but still close enough. We will be going back. As for the "bad" review written by "me and my wife", it was and is totally off-base. You want to party and not sleep, then stay in a hotel downtown. Kathy and Rob respect your privacy. They always have your besy interests in mind.

Me and my wife stayed at the Wisteria. We were disappointed with the rude staff and the questionable sleeping quarters. The location also was not good to be able to enjoy the downtown area. I am not sure why others rated this so highly... seems kind of fishy. Check somewhere else first!

Rob and Kathy are the best. We have been staying with them for years. Rooms are beautiful and breakfast is wonderful! Hot tub is nice especially under the starry sky. The most beautiful gardens and the best of all, R&K are good people. See you soon!
