Academy Street B & B, Hawley

My husband and I spent afew days at this B&B and really enjoyed it. The food was excellent and ample,especially the night time snack set out in the parlor. The dining room is set up like a victorian tea room and very roomy. The owners could not have been friendlier or more accomadating to us. And the atmosphere is definately Vistorian with portraits of the original owners greeting you from the staircase leading to the second floor. On one night we enjoyed sitting on the front porch in a rainstorm watching deer move about the area. The house sits,with others,in a hollow away from the noise of nearby traffic and stores.
