We spent 2 nights at the White House last summer and found the accomodations to be excellent. The house is majestic. Our room was very large; the house is solidly built and the neighborhood is very quiet. Parking was no problem. The innkeeper's family was very gracious, helpful but not intrusive. Breakfast was served at an associated inn about a mile away. This is NOT a place for those who want to be in the midst of the action but if you want a quiet place to stay and especially if you like to walk, it's wonderful.
