Nice but old

Chilmark is a bit out of the way, which is why we chose to stay at the Picket house. Previous reviews where excellent, so we booked for several days.
The owner and her children are delightful, but the house is old, which is not a bad feature but was not in the greatest shape, as it was dilapidated and really not clean. The sheets where old and the rooms did not smell fresh.
Breakfast was meager, with an offering of fruits, granola and coffee. For the price paid, you are better off at a hotel or a higher end B&B.
We have stayed at many B&B's across the world, some excellent, some not so great.Mrs Picket is a pleasant lady, but her property and offered amenities do not justify the asking price
