Apple Motor Inn, Ardsley

Loved the fact that it was soooo close to NYC with such good amenities. I was travelling so free internet and cable helped unwind and fresh coffee right from my room was refreshing! Dunkin donuts and starbucks closeby appeals to those with sweeth tooth for snack or breakfast. Chinese restuarant, gas station stores, CVS within walking distance is a good bonus to get your utilities or have a quick pick up order or eat out. About 20-25 minutes away from the city this is a sure deal instead of driving from NJ to save some $$$$. So, while you are travelling or getting away for a weekend this is definately a good choice to go for.

I stayed a month. Once during my stay the night manager entered my room at 1 AM, without first knocking. My bf and I were sleeping in the bed and shocked at the intrusion. The night manager, who only spoke broken English, backed out of the room, leaving bf and me shocked and wondering what the heck had just happened. Probably a mistake. Other than that bizarre, scary occurrence, the motel met my current needs. It was very clean, cheap, and near all kinds of stores (within walking distance of a Chinese restaurant, CVS, gas station, etc) and about 25 mins from the Bronx. Granted, some of the rooms were made to be rented for hrs at a time, instead of days. It is known as a "no-tell motel" :-/ But there were also rooms, like mine, fit for families and some include fridges and microwaves. At the price and with all the other positives considered, this is your best option if you don't want to spend $$$$$$$$!!!

just outside new york city , this quiet and secure treasure makes for a delightful stay. Price is right , staff is very friendly, great restaurants down the street.

What i liked best was the place is spotless.It is without question, The finast bang for your buck in the tri state-area. Best of all, its only 20 mintues from manhattan and your saving about 200- per night.. ps dont tell to many people, we need to keep this a secret. :)

I travel in this area all the time. This newly renovated gem is simply the best deal in Westchester..... The newly redone rooms are pristine.. If your looking for value and cleanliness, this is the place...
