Wonderful Inn in Beautiful Remensburg, NY
By Kendra, 07/10/06
We were in town for a family reunion over 4th of July weekend. My aunt lives locally and recommended this Inn run by a mother & daughter team (Suzanne & Jennifer) as she had been there to attend a wedding on a previous occasion. We could not have been more delighted to pull up to the Inn. It is absolutely gorgeous from the outside and warm and inviting on the inside. Our room was immaculate and decorated right from a Ralph Lauren catalog. Nothing fussy; just sweet and comfortable with hardwood floors and chambray comforter. Breakfast was four to five star with fresh fruit, fresh muffins (Mmmm: banana/chocolate chip muffins! I will miss those) and a choice of usually a quiche or something sweet like french toast or brioche. We enjoyed the company of Hunter, as well, who is Jennifer's pet yellow lab. Super sweet lil guy and very well-behaved. The inn has grounds that are relaxing and just a stroll away from the bay. We didn't get the opportunity to utilize the pool or hot tub. Next time, I would reserve the private room that is adjacent to the main house and right outside the pool/hot tub area. It looked very cozy out there and quite private. I would stay here again and again. We were so relaxed, we lost track of the day of the week (which is perfect, if you ask me).

A Lovely, Warm Home
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/07/06
This is a large home with multiple rooms and each have their own private baths. We especially liked that and the very warm way the owners decorated the old country house. Breakfasts were OUT OF THIS WORLD - not some store-bought pastry stuff but actually home baked with delightful egg specialties. We will absolutely be back for early Summer/late Fall visits.
