It's a No-Tell Motel

The Pines is not the place to stay if you're looking for a nice room to sleep in with the family. It's known in the area as a short stay motel. It's also used by the county's department of social services and some of the local churches to house the homeless. You must be buzzed into the office, yet there is no outside security.
There is never really a quiet time, since people will check in for 3 hours and then leave.
For peace of mind and safety, pay a few extra dollars and stay at the Holiday Inn or Red Roof Inn in Westbury.
