Great food, great lodging, great wedding!
Silver Fork is where my wedding and reception were held, september 2008. There is a beautiful lawn out back you can rent and the restaurant will cater. The food was a HUGE hit at my wedding, the staff was extremely nice and accommodating, and everything went smoothly.
I've also dined here on many many occasions. Every new year's day my family goes up for a day of skiing at Brighton and comes down to Silver Fork for dinner. And each mother's day we would go with my grandparents and other relatives to breakfast.
Breakfast is ok. The food is delicious but there is not a lot to choose from. The atmosphere out on the deck though is STUNNING. Lunch-wise they have a very yummy trout salad and some good sandwiches.
For dinner they have a great chicken piccata, and their blue cheese salad dressing is to die for (I used to hate blue cheese dressing until I had theirs). They have an interesting ginger asparagus appetizer that is awesome! Everyone should try it. And if you go in mid to later summer there are hummingbirds everywhere! (they have feeders out on the patio and the hummingbirds definitely take advantage of them)!
The lodge is very quaint and cute, with a stone fireplace inside and a unique rustic lodge feel.
It is also a bed and breakfast and my husband and I spent our wedding night in one of the rooms above the dining room. There's a game room downstairs and a hot tub. There aren't TV's in the rooms, but there is one in the game room with movies to choose from. You can wake up in the morning and get breakfast on the patio below.
I absolutely LOVE Silver Fork and nothing anyone says can change my mind!
My last day in Utah before my husband and I made our first move with the military my parents took us to dinner and I had possibly the best duck I have EVER had!
