I'm homesick for SFL and your buckwheat pancakes.
By Mary, 09/13/09
A year ago this weekend our family gathered at your wonderful lodge for the happy occasion of our grandson's wedding. I can't imagine how anyone (2 messages down) could complain about your service----we were all treated like royalty. Wonderful place, wonderful people and WONDERFUL food. My husband is no longer a great fan of traveling but over and over he mentions how much he'd like to stay at Silver Fork Lodge again. Maybe if we win some money and our health holds out maybe we can make that long trip again. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

Great food, great lodging, great wedding!
By Laura, 08/26/09
Silver Fork is where my wedding and reception were held, september 2008. There is a beautiful lawn out back you can rent and the restaurant will cater. The food was a HUGE hit at my wedding, the staff was extremely nice and accommodating, and everything went smoothly. I've also dined here on many many occasions. Every new year's day my family goes up for a day of skiing at Brighton and comes down to Silver Fork for dinner. And each mother's day we would go with my grandparents and other relatives to breakfast. Breakfast is ok. The food is delicious but there is not a lot to choose from. The atmosphere out on the deck though is STUNNING. Lunch-wise they have a very yummy trout salad and some good sandwiches. For dinner they have a great chicken piccata, and their blue cheese salad dressing is to die for (I used to hate blue cheese dressing until I had theirs). They have an interesting ginger asparagus appetizer that is awesome! Everyone should try it. And if you go in mid to later summer there are hummingbirds everywhere! (they have feeders out on the patio and the hummingbirds definitely take advantage of them)! The lodge is very quaint and cute, with a stone fireplace inside and a unique rustic lodge feel. It is also a bed and breakfast and my husband and I spent our wedding night in one of the rooms above the dining room. There's a game room downstairs and a hot tub. There aren't TV's in the rooms, but there is one in the game room with movies to choose from. You can wake up in the morning and get breakfast on the patio below. I absolutely LOVE Silver Fork and nothing anyone says can change my mind! My last day in Utah before my husband and I made our first move with the military my parents took us to dinner and I had possibly the best duck I have EVER had!

The Service could be better

A beautiful place to eat. The view on the patio is spectacular, and the food is pretty good, but the service here is lacking. I've been here several times because I love the patio, but I've yet to have a good experience with any of the waiters or staff.

Excellent 4 budget traveler
By A Yahoo! User, 12/08/06
I LOVE this place. When I can't stay with my grandparents at the base of the mountain, we stay here. The food is amazing, the location is perfect, and the rooms are cozy and very cutely decorated. I have stayed here at leasst 2 or 3 times and always come back. Can't get a better deal anywhere on the mountain. Love it.

Our place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/14/06
Silver Fork Lodge has become my wife and and I's "place" where we take a leisurely ride up Big Cottonwood Canyon, hang out on the deck, eat smoked Trout and dinner, and enjoy "our" time. I've been going there for over 30 years, starting with my parents in the 1970's and it has remained a favorite comfort spot for me. Don't miss this place.
