Don't visit - you'll get hit by a truck
On Saturday, Oct 6th, I had visited the Gallitzen Tunnel location to film train movements. I was on the overpass. Around 12:30PM, I had witnessed a very disturbing incident involving either the owner or employee of the The Tunnel Inn Bed & Breakfast. I had seen a family almost hit by a Dodge pickup truck that was driven by what I believe was by someone affiliated with The Tunnel Inn (possibly an employee or owner of the establishment). The family was taking photographs of themselves on the Inn's parking lot and then the truck drove into the lot and aggressively swerved toward the family and particularly near a mother of the family. The driver then came out of the trunk and said "get the f@#k off of my property!" This is a quote.
This made no sense to me, the family was very upset and later on the grandfather of the family had dizzy spells. This behavior of this person, who appeared to be closely associated with the Inn, was very dangerous and could have hurt a family that included children and elderly.
The Tunnel Inn appeared to be a very attractive place to visit. But if you do not like being runned over by a truck, don't stay there. You're safer on the train tracks. I found the behavior of this person to be very distastefull at best and criminal at worst. I sent them an email but received no response. I have a very negative opinion of this establishment and would like to know if anyone out there had similiar experiences. I can not believe that a business would operate like this.
