River Plaza Apartments & Suites, Harrisburg

Moved here May 2011 and simply amazed by the price that I am paying for my penthouse unit. Views are spectacular and it is right next to my kids school which is great. other then the flood which affected all of harrisburg including our building I give this place thumbs up. Dont always read into negative reviews as I really like this place and it has been nothing but great.

DO NOT LIVE AT THIS PLACE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND THIS BUILDING WAS JUST FLOODED AND SMELLS OF MILDEW. UNSAFE NEIGHBORHOOD, OFFICE STAFF LAZY. DO NOT MOVE HERE

I was unsure about moving hear after reading all of the reviews however my experience with the company has been more than enjoyable. I havent had any major maintence issues and the small ones i did have were fixed immeadiately. the staff is always welcoming and friendly and the renovations they have done are beautiful. I RECOMMEND LIVING HERE ALL THE WAY !!!

This place is a rip-off. I would not wish residency of this building to my arch enemy.

I am a current resident and I absolutely hate living here for several reasons! The first being that it took almost a year for two small passenger elevators to be upgraded (thus it took FOREVER to come and go)! Second, the building manager is the most incompetent person I've ever met ... I went to pick up a package that the post office left and was told it was at the post office. I went there and the letter carrier said it was at the leasing office. So I returned there and the building manager was all apologetic ... all I could do was glare at him for running me out of my way. And I can certainly agree with people who say that the women in the office can be very rude and lazy at times. And I do agree that it is way too overpriced ... okay, so whoopee that there's a river view! What really gets me is that I have placed two service requests on consecutive days to have my air conditioning fixed so my cat and I don't poach in 90 degree heat with the stickiest of humidity! This is torture ... especially considering I just got out of the hospital two days ago! And finally, I don't know of any employer that lets an employee do their "side business" where they work. One of the maintenance technician is allowed to offer his internet service to residents ... advertising wi - fi for $20 monthly and it's no faster than dial - up! Plus my connection gets unreliably dropped all the time! Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra $$$ for a REAL apartment home!

First of all the apartment are small and not worth the price.The area around the building is bad and only getting worse.Unless you wanna pay extra $150 month better be able to walk something as much 2 blocks away from the building to park.The women in the office are lazy and rude.Don't even think of being one day late with the rent or they being trying to kick you out .They seam not care m about why the water in the pipe comes out brown when first turn it on or how people get into the building that don't belong there or anything going on in the building but be late with the rent even 2 or 3 days and they seam to get up to put an eviction notice on your door with no problem.

We lived here for 5 months.We were a few days late with our rent one time we called down to the office to explain we would be a few days late with the rent we were told by the lady who handles the money that we better pay in few days or we would have 20 days to get out.Said she dosn't like dealing checks and it make it easyer on her if paid with a credit card kept on file. You have to fight for a parking space or come up with an extra $150.00 a month for a parking space in the gradage.Young people would go down into the computer room and get onto the computers playing lound music and laying on the tables for 3 to 4 hours at time and not letting others on.We told the people who work in the office who did nothing. We ended having to call the corpate office to get them to do anything about it. Here a really good tip don't drink the water.The taste is just awful.We just brought bottled water. Living next to the river was nice.And the sun deck is nice in the summer.But not worth the $735.00 a month.

I moved into Korman roughly six months ago after my marriage sadly ended. I have nothing but good things to say about living here. The staff goes out of their way to make sure I am comfortable, safe and happy while living here. I went on vacation for a week and they held all of my mail and packages. I was going to return late, so they actually took the time to deliver them to my apartment so I did not have to worry with it in the morning. The location is quite convenient, and you have got to see these views. I toured many properties before finding Korman, and I can honestly say that they are the most reasonably priced apartment community. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

aweful neighborhood. Miles from downtown. Scary people live and work there. Stay away from this place.. way over priced as well People were rude and uncaring Parking was non-existant Dont stay there its aweful there are plenty of nice hotels in the downtown Harrisburg area

have lived here since 98 and have found the newest management team is dedicated to the residents, and to those occupants int the suites. The upkeep is 4 star service for all interior needs and outside adaptiveness for all who stay.
