we loved the cozy relaxing retreat

First time at a B&B. The building had log walls for that rustic feel. It was charming and cozy. The owners were great host. The breakfast were creative.
When we were looking for a place to stay. I wanted that, being in the mountains type feel. I didn't want that feel of just being in a regular home and the log building, did just the trick.
It was in a small mountain town of allenspark colorado, 15 miles south of Estes Park. No TV connection and no TV in the room, but they did have a TV and several hundred movies to choose from for watching. No in-room phones but there was a phone in the lobby to use. There was a hot tub. They offered self-service warm drinks whenever you wanted. They offered beer and wine for a charge. Not every room had running water but after seeing the property, I think we could have gotten by just fine without that convenience, after all, we were just using the room for sleeping. We looked at every room and they were all warm, cozy and inviting.
