Just right
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/26/10
Found Inn at 835 on the Internet. Glad that we did! Comfortable beds, many conveniences at hand. We booked Lily Room at $157 nightly. Comfortable with one of the best beds ever. Nice porch adjoining. Melinda however discovered the Orchid Suite after our first night. We moved there. Wow! It is a large, gracious apartment -- literally. It is as the apartments were in days gone by. Two bedrooms, one lovely bath, pretty hallway, large porch, and large living room. Loved it! Furniture is in good, clean condition, and is also from an earlier age. Service personnel are knowledgeable and gracious. Breakfasts are tasty and generous, served by the Chef who is justifiably proud of his creations. Downside: the gorgeous shower-bathtub desperately needs traction and handlebar. WiFi, provided throughout at no charge, fades in and out. And (small detail, really) the LR DVD player had no remote. All in all this great old home is a welcoming and well thought-out home to travelers, one that I would rate 9.5 out of 10.

Loved it
By Ken, 5/5/09
My girlfriend and I spent two nights in a room in the main building. It is great location-wise, as most of the touristy stuff was a very short drive away. The room was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly, and breakfast was great. The only complaint we had was the shower. It fluctuated between scalding and freezing, with only brief periods of comfortable temperature. Other than that, we loved it and would definitely go back again.

Wonderful, Romantic Getaway
By Laurie O, 6/30/08
We stayed here for our 16th wedding anniversary. We stayed in the house in the back. The room was very romantic and cozy. The whirlpool bath was gorgeous. The room had a fireplace, cd player, romantic light settings to set the mood. We ordered in dinner and enjoyed our surroundings. In the evening the innkeeper brought us cookies in a wonderful basket. Very thoughtful and when we told her we were ordering food in she brought us plates and silverware. We had a lovely porch to sit outside. In the morning we ate in the main house. My husband and I had our own table and the food was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone and without a doubt in my mind will go back.
