You can't go wrong here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/26/06
It's a wonderful place to stay. If you are down to Springfield for a visit, it's walking distance to Lincoln's library and his historic home. The house is beautiful and well kept. And breakfasts are excellent. For business travelers, it's 6 blocks from the capitol, and they provide wireless internet. Also, the owner is so warm and welcoming. You feel like you're part of the family. Highly recommended.

Beautiful- Felt just like a neighbor of Lincoln
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/26/06
What a beautiful B & B. Stayed here a few years ago while doing some historical research. Price was very reasonable, Location superb- Practically next door to Lincoln's home- in fact the original owners children played with Lincoln's children. Representing the time period of the early 1900's the owner has taken great lengths to give you the feeling of being in that time period. I loved the warm and inviting sitting room/ library and the breakfast was quite filling , and appetizing.
