Pansy's Parlor Bed & Breakfast, Golden

2-8-12 ~ Had the best time, in this very beautiful, quiet, clean Victorian Era Bed and Breakfast. Our host was very accommodating, and willing to share the history of this amazing home, which I found fascinating. You will find this B&B is decorated with antiques to the era and done very well. The home is located with in walking distance to the main street and the School of Mines, once I parked the car I never seem to need it. Each morning I started my day with a wonderful 5 star breakfast, a true taste sensation that I have never experienced. There were homemade bake goods like fancy sweet breads as well as breakfast desserts and everything you could imagine in between. We had fresh fruit, smoothies, coffee, tea, juice, milk, water, and then came a main course like Eggs Benedict, or French Toast w/ Cherries (just to name a few) all piping hot and wonderful. If I was asked to sum up in one word my stay at Pansy's I would have to say "WOW"

I like the host, the food, the house, and the backyard. The host (Judy) is a very nice lady. She cooks delicious food! The house is relatively small but beautiful. And there's a piano you can play anytime! The backyard is really pretty. And it's really close to Colorado School of Mines, my current school. My parents will definitely come back here anytime they visit me.
