I recently called this place just to inquire if they held showers. The woman on the phone was very rude and sounded disgusted that I would even ask such a question about her bed and breakfast.
If a simple call and question can easily frusterate a person working there, imagine if you had to ask her a question to her face while staying there.
The managers are friendly, the breakfast simple, the rooms acceptable, and the fact that many guests in the spring, summer and fall are enrolled in Marc Adams School of woodworking make the breakfast discussions interesting and the evenings allow a possibility of socializing. It is economical and convenient.
We have stayed here several times and have always been treated graciously. The owners are conscientious about details making our stay comfortable. And we thoroughly enjoy the conversations at check-in and during breakfast. It feels like you are visiting family!
