Ravenwood Castle, New Plymouth

I took my Mom to the castle to celebrate my 60th and her 80th birthdays. I wanted to take her someplace that she would talk about for a while and would think about, with a smile on her face, forever. We had the best time. The meals were great and the room was so comfortable. I plan to take my new daughter for a visit this year and can't waite for her to see everything. When Mom and I went there was a "Robin Hood" wedding right outside our door. Mom got her picture taken with the Joker in the group. Once again we loved out time there Faith and Betty

Cell phones,PDA,ESPN..Work...Kids..ARRGH I need a getaway..... Peace and quiet and A place to reconnect with your sweety...You have found it here. No TV..No Radio's...Most Cell's do NOT work here either (an added bonus) . Great National parks (Wayne National Forest and Hocking Hills State park) plenty of hiking trails from the most extreme,to the casual walker. Great food...The Castle puts on quite a spread on Saturday night.But dinner is available all nights. Breakfast consists of Cereal,OJ,Milk, Fresh fruit,and at least one warm main dish. Linda's homemade cinnamon rolls are the bomb. There is a quaint Pub in the Cellar that is on the honor system,. We stayed in the "dungeon " with a king size bed. The mattress was very comfy. and we were not disturbed by those in the pub down the hall. So the insulation in the walls was good. (all about the ambiance) .The room had a regular tub/shower combo...but was of a nice size and not to primitive. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it ...
