Lovely weekend retreat!
Grayson's innkeeper, Paula Johnson, is delightful. She makes you immediately feel right at home. The inn is small and charming, just like the town it is in. With several areas to relax around the home, you can leave your room and still be comfortable.
Palmer lake is quaint and has several very good restaurants (B&E Filling Station, Bella Panini, or get down and dirty with the best hot wings anywhere at O'Malleys Pub). All are a very short walk from the inn.
The Colorado scenery is wonderful any time of year. We have gone in winter with ski resorts only 90 minutes away, and gone on some fabulous summer hikes right from town in the summer.
