Awesome Experience!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/21/07
This is one of the finest bed and breakfast experiences I have ever had. The accommodations are among the best, the food is outstanding and the hosts are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I will have fond memories of this house and the time I spent there for a very long time.

The Best
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/02/07
The hosts were amazing -- we found ourselves just visiting for hours with them one afternoon. Their knowledge of Kansas City and their area is endless, no question they can't answer. Food wonderful -- three totally different menus for each of our three mornings there, served on three different china patterns (grandmother's dishes!) Close to The Plaza and across the street from the most amazing museum you will ever see. Go, you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful

The owners were very friendly. It was quiet. The jacuzzi tub and bedding were great, and breakfast (quiche with fruit and giant croissants) was very tasty. It's one of the least expensive B&Bs in the area too. Stay here while you can! The owners are selling.

we loved it you have to go

I loved everything about the place. They have the most amazing chef that cooks this gourmet breakfast in the morning. The location is nice. It's in walking distance from the Neilsons Art Museum.

Very happy with our choice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/11/06
We wanted to spend a relaxing/romantic weekend in KC and the La Fontaine Inn was a great choice. Neither of us had ever stayed in a B&B before and we didn’t know what to expect, but everything was prefect. It left us wondering if we could ever stay in a traditional hotel again. Besides the beautiful house, nice staff and general amenities the location stood out as another plus. We were so close to so many great attractions that we hardy had to drive anywhere.
