Awesome Getaway!

Tara Point is awesome. Everything from the views and bald eagles to the privacy and hospitality. My wife and I love going here -in fact we even got engaged here. If your looking for a 1-3 day getaway this is a place to try. You'll love the small town of Grafton, too. Wineries, bars, shopping, & food just down below from the bluffs where Tara Point is located. Just make sure to plan a multiple day trip in adavance because they get booked quickly. Have Fun! Jason & Laura Palmero Edwardsville, IL.

Beautiful & romantic

We have stayed here twice for our anniversary. We have never stayed in the main house but in the "cabins". Each one has a sm. living rm. area w/fireplace, kitchen area w/microwave & fridge. A continental breakfast is left in the fridge for you. The bedrm. is large & the bath is spacious w/a whirlpool. Each "cabin" is decorated beautiflly. The view overlooking the river is beautiful & u can enjoy it from your front porch. Hard to get into on the weekend unless you plan ahead, but during the week you pretty much have the place to yourself.
